Did you know that trees were not natural to the Icelandic landscape? They had to be imported into Iceland from abroad. The unique geography of Iceland does not allow for the natural growth of trees.
Trees and animals provide for each other. Trees provide, food, shelter and a home for animals. Have you seen birds nest in a tree of animals living in hollows? The animals spread the seeds from the trees and drop them to the ground. New trees start to grow.
If you cut a tree, you kill a life. If you save a tree, you save a life. If you plant a tree, you plant a life.
